Pradeep Namdeo Bureau,Chhattisgarh।With the aim of fostering positive engagement between security forces and the local community, C/65 Battalion organized a Civic Action Programme on March 30, 2025, at C/65 Kodoli Camp in naxal-hit Bijapur district of Chhattisgarh.

The event took place from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM in the presence of Assistant Commandant Javeed Ali, Inspector/GD Birbal Kumar, Inspector/GD Man Singh, and Civil Police TI Ashwani Kumar. Villagers from Kartipara, Dharapal, and Kodoli actively participated in the programme. The civic action programme benefitted around 340 families.
During the programme, essential articles, including cycles for students, solar lanterns, water tanks, blankets (kambal), dhotis, sarees, cricket kits, volleyball kits, towels (gamcha), utensils (bartan), pencil boxes, school uniforms, and slippers, were distributed among villagers.
The initiative aimed to support the underprivileged sections of society, particularly students and youths, to encourage education, sports, and overall community welfare. Local cricket and volleyball teams of kadtipara, Talnar, Kodoli and Darapal were also provided with sports kits to promote physical activities and engagement among the youth.
This civic action program is part of a continuous effort by C/65 Kodoli Camp in Bijapur, to build trust and cooperation with local communities. Through such initiatives, CRPF seeks to counter anti-national elements, spread awareness among the youth, and encourage them to contribute positively to society. The distribution of educational and sports materials plays a crucial role in diverting young minds from extremism and channelling their energy toward productive activities.
Nearly 10 poor parents of school going kids were provided with bicycles, school bags and stationary items.
Such programs are organized regularly to strengthen the bond between security forces and villagers, so that a peaceful and progressive environment could be developed in the region.
The efforts of C65 battalion received positive responses from the local population, reinforcing the importance of such engagements in promoting harmony and security. Moving forward, the battalion remains committed to conducting similar welfare activities, aiming for even better results in uplifting local communities and guiding the youth toward a brighter future.
